Luxury Wellness
Anytime is a good time for self-care!
One of the biggest trends in travel over the last decade has been the growth of wellness travel and this trend is expected to continue. In fact, the Global Wellness Institute projects worldwide wellness travel expenditures will reach $1.3 trillion by 2025. I certainly have purchased my share of spa treatments at home and on vacation. Post-pandemic, I’ve vowed to attend a wellness retreat at least once each year as a way to intentionally reset and recharge.
Wellness increasingly means more than classic spa treatments, with many spas incorporating mindfulness and spirituality practices into their menus.
“The body heals with play, the mind heals with laughter and the spirit heals with joy”. Proverb
In my view, the very act of traveling—of experiencing different destinations, cultural traditions, cuisines, and worldviews—can be an act of healing. Travel provides opportunities to play, laugh, and experience joy. As the saying goes, “health is my wealth and time is my treasure.”
But never before have there been more options for travelers to look after themselves and their loved ones as they go about their adventures. From staycation to spacation, a well-planned weekend together can rekindle your relationships and recharge your zest for life.
I hope my blog inspires you to make self-care a priority.
